Alejandro “Alex” Flores
Product Manager, IP Network Services, Intelsat
In his current role, Mr. Flores serves as a bridge between product management and Operations/Engineering by analyzing, defining and clarifying business requirements in support of the Network Services product portfolio. Products and services that he actively manages are: Intelsat On-Demand, VoIP Hosting Services, VSAT and Disaster Recovery Solutions. Based out of the Customer Service Center located in Atlanta, Mr. Flores recently joined Intelsat from PanAmSat where he held various positions within Product Management, Operations and Engineering. He has played a critical role in the deployment of the PanAmSat PASPort fiber network and was a vital team-member that supported the live broadcasts of the 2002 World Cup, 2003 Pan American Games as well as the 2004 Athens Olympics. Alex also led the product launch of the QuickSPOT On-Demand service, which was awarded the Top Innovation award at the 2005 NAB convention. Prior to joining PanAmSat, Mr. Flores proudly served with the United States Air Force in both NORAD and the US Space Command. He earned a Master in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management and a bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University.
